British proscription law of the LTTE proves to be a naked king’s story

(July 14, London, Sri Lanka Guardian) The LTTE activists lead by the British Tamil Forum showed two fingers to the British Terrorism Law which proscribed the LTTE as a terrorist outfit. Subsequent amendment to the Terrorism Act upheld glorifying terrorism is a punishable offence.

The LTTE front British Tamil Forum displayed the most wanted terrorist leader Velupillai Pirabakaran’s photo’s and the police did not interfere to arrest anyone. One observer present at the venue said Velupillai Pirabakaran who is considered to be equal to Osama Bin Laden under the Terrorism Act enjoyed all the sympathy of the British authorities. The Metropolitan Police had even provided barriers to manage the crowd knowing very well it was a LTTE function.

According to sources, at the tail end of the event Pirabakaran’s video footage was shown by the organisers. LTTE leader Pirabakaran had given a special message for the event which was broadcast on the LTTE broadcasting services before the event.

The LTTE was able to pull 10,000 crowed mainly youngsters who had migrated to the UK from other EU countries. The entire event was pro LTTE. The participants in the programmes were wearing the LTTE attire of red and orange dresses. The LTTE Tamilnet claimed 30,000 attended, whilst LTTE’s gutter websites nitharsanam.com and uktamilsnews.com raised the number to 40,000. The police estimated the crowd at 10,000. It is emerging that section of the crowd was specially ferried from the European mainland by the British Tamil Forum.

The British parliamentarians who passed the Terrorism Act remain laughing stock when they attended the function and stood amongst the crowd knowing very well it was the function of the proscribed LTTE in the UK to glorify its terrorist activities.

The observers confirmed BTA collecting funds by filling out forms.

The LTTE event took place in Roehampton in the South London on 12 (Saturday) July 2008.

The Sri Lankan Government and the Global Community are responsible in the creation of the LTTE movement. From 1947 to the 1970s, the Sri Lankan Government engaged in Horrific abuse and Discrimination against the Tamil minority, and yet peaceful Tamil protests yielded zero results with attacks and killings against the elected Tamil Leaders. This provoked the creation of a violent separatist movement the LTTE. The Black July of 83 is a well planned Genocide against the Tamil Minority in Sri Lanka. Over 5000 Tamils have been killed by the Sri Lankan Security forces and more than 40,000 Tamil Homes been looted and burnt down. Several Hundreds of Tamil women were raped and killed by the Majority Sinhalese.
The lesson to be learned is that when oppressive Dictatorships like Communist China and Islamic Malaysia commit horrific abuse against peaceful Minorities, like Tibetans and Malaysian Hindus, other Democracies must intervene and force justice for the oppressed. Otherwise, frustrated minorities may be forced to take up arms to achieve justice.

The LTTE took up Arms to fight the Injustice and Atrocities perpetrated against the Tamil Minorities in Sri Lanka for the past 4 decades.

Over a Million Tamils left Sri Lanka and took refuge in other countries, because of the atrocities committed against the Tamil Minorities by the Sri Lankan Govt.

Who you trying to fool? No ways there is 300,000 Tamils in England, why you lying by saying only 8000 people attended. There was more than 40,000 people attended a great day. England is not state of terrorism like Sri Lanka where if you stand up for freedom you get killed, England is democratic countries please understand that.
This is Sri Lanka where you can hide the truth please don’t make yourself a joke. Don’t compare Bin Laden with Great Tamil leader; remember western world listed Nelson Mandela as terrorist now they can’t stop praising the guy. There will be a day when the world will praise Great Pirabakaran.
