Many children have died of diabetes. Parents and doctors fail to detect this disease among children. Lack of exercise and dietary habits are the causes for this disease. Obesity at young age can also be a cause.

An expert from the World Health Organization has termed this disease, diabetes, as “ Global Diabetic Tsunami”. It is going to reduce the longevity of the people all over the globe.

Since there are no physical activities provided for students in the curricula of the schools and since children are seated before the computers the whole day, there is obesity among children. Asian countries do not seem to pay adequate attention to the serious impact of diabetes.
