Malaysian Tamils to Protests in front of the Sri Lankan Embassy



(November 14, New Delhi, Sri Lanka Guardian) Indian Congress (Youth Division) Tamils is protest tomorrow against Sri Lanka in front of Sri Lankan embassy in Malaysia to condemn Sri Lanka for its continued killing of Eelam Tamils, and is to urge the international community to stop the genocides of Tamils in Sri Lanka. The protest rally is to take place in front of the Sri Lankan Embassy at 2:00 p.m.

The Indian Congress said, over 200,000 Tamils are internally displaced and living in subhuman conditions, with no or limited access to food, medicines, sanitary conditions, and drinking water. This is a great human crisis and every one should go beyond the party politics to bring the plights of Tamils catrastrophic situations to the attentions of the international community.

If human tragedy unfolding in any part of the world with the intention of Genocides needs to be condemned by right thinking people. Sri Lanka, Tamils are being killed in large numbers and large number of people including over 40,000 children are in dire needs of assistances, the situations for these people got worsen after Sri Lanka kicked the UN aid agencies and other INGOs out of Vanni.

"On November 6, Hundreds of Malaysian Indian Congress Tamils protested against Sri Lanka in front of Sri Lankan embassy in Malaysia on Thursday and condemned Sri Lanka for its continued killing of Tamils, and urged the international community to stop the genocides of Tamils," an organisers said.

On October 17, 2008 Malaysian Democratic Action Party (DAP), Jalan, and Baru branch rallied in support of Tamils and condemned the Sri Lankan government and their leaders.
