Who is the female writer from London giving false information about Dr JJ to the Colombo media

(December 05, London, Sri Lanka Guardian) According to Colombo media (Tamil) a very serious claim has been made without quoting the name of a female journalist that Dr Jayalath Jayawardene had participated in the demonstrations of the LTTE in London.

Dr Jayalath Jayawardene is a regular visitor to the United Kingdom and has engaged in wide-ranging forums including radio discussions and interactive public discussion programmes involving the cross section of the Sri Lankan Diaspora community.

A frustrated Tamil lady, who self promotes herself as a leading Tamil writer is currently enjoying honeymoon with the Sri Lanka government’s Defence establishment. She was one of the special invitees at the President’s meeting at the Sri Lanka High Commission held on December 2,2010 when she asked personal favours from the President and the Minister S B Dissanayake.

She was also a special guest nominated by the Sri Lanka High Commission to participate in the debate at the House of Commons room in the parliament where she made notes of everything that was said by the speakers. Dr Jayalath Jayawardene was the key speaker at this meeting.

Other than this meeting, Dr Jayawardene did not attend any public meetings or demonstrations.

The so-called Tamil writer has become the information gatherer for the Defence Ministry of Sri Lanka. Her conduct is said to be very dangerous and can be life threatening for people. Her unsubstantiated comments have put Dr Jayalath Jayawardene’s life at risk.

It is not the intention of the Sri Lanka Guardian to reveal the name of the alleged writer and informer as we do not wish to put her into difficulties as she has done so with the parliamentarian Dr Jayalath Jayawardene.
