· R.S Swaminathan (1932-2010)
R.Swaminathan was the Chairman of the International Institute of Security and Safety Management, New Delhi and Vice President of the Chennai Centre for China Studies. He was former Special Secretary, DG (Security), Government of India and regular contributor to the Sri Lanka Guardian since 2008. He was passed away in 2010. Read his articles and articles on him.
· Maloy Krishna Dhar ( 1937-2012)
Maloy Krishna Dhar was born in Kamalpur, Bhairab-Mymensingh in East Bengal. As a youngster, he and his family migrated to India walking through bloodbath. Maloy completed his university education with a Masters degree in Bengali Literature and Language and Comparative Literature from Calcutta University. He taught in a college and worked as a junior staff reporter before joining the Indian Police Service in 1964. He was drafted to the Central Intelligence Bureau in 1968. He had seen actions in the North East, Sikkim, Punjab, and Kashmir, and handled important political, counterterrorism, counterinsurgency and counterintelligence operations. He was passed away in 2012. His articles appeared on the Sri Lanka Guardian frequency since 2010. Read them here
