Three people Serious Wounded after LTTE attacked

Colleague of Pottu’s involved with the Crisis

Three Tamil people were admitted in Jaffna Hospital on the day before yesterday because of serious injures after being attacked by LTTE agents, reliable sources in Jaffna said. The patients have now been transferred to the Intensive Care Unit of the Hopital because of their critical condition.

The victims are identified Kandasami Sivakumaran, Sivakumaran Devaranee and Loganadan Kalyani, all residents close to Puttur Junction, Meesalai.

All three, members of the same family have been grocers in the place paying some money to the owner of the building as a monthly rent. The owner of the grocery building has been identified as Thadan, a pro LTTE man whose sister is a senior member of the LTTE intelligence wing. She in turn is very close to Pottu Amman, the head of the Intelligence Wing.

Thadan has launched an attack on the family after they rejected his demand of extortion money for their continued operations.

They never complained to Police or Forces because of their fear of death. Thadan ha d threated harm to them should they reveal or complain about this story to the police and had promised to kill them if they did so.

As a result the victims are living without any legal support or protection from the Government.

Thadan's sister is now involved with spy operations in Colombo and other civilian areas, our sources reveal. Government of Sri Lanka should take urgent action and show concern for the unfortunate situation facing the Kandasamay family and capture Pottu's spy girl operating in Colombo. Some time soon, many believe, the woman will be the character behind the next human bomb!
