(November, 23, London, Sri Lanka Guardian) The LTTE radio station International Broadcasting Corporation (IBC) is giving extensive coverage for the UK proscribed LTTE’s annual Hero’s Day celebrations to be held at the Excel Centre in the Docklands in London on 27 November 2007.
The IBC is broadcasting via Hotbird satellite and on the air time bought from the medium wave Spectrum Radio and is appealing for the LTTE supporters to attend in large numbers.
The LTTE activists are participating in phoning discussions and requesting people to make the event a success.
Sources say the LTTE fronts Deepan TV and Tharisanam TV will be joining the campaign to give publicity for the event from 24 November 2007.
The Hero’s Day event in the UK is organised by the LTTE front British Tamil Forum.
