Revelation: LTTE men collecting funds in the UK

(March 11, London, Sri Lanka Guardian) After being inactive for over fifteen months, the LTTE cadres have started a sudden campaign to collect fund in London. The fund collectors are said be previously unknown new faces and they are said to be using lists of names of Tamils to visit Tamil house.

The fund collectors are said to aggressively targeting Tamil retail businesses and in some cases they have threatened dire consequences if payment is not made.

According to sources, the fund collectors are not having much joy from the residents. The response rate is said to be 10% success rate on the doors knocked.

A shop owner who was approached in Wembley said, he too was approached and according to him his known contacts have said that the LTTE chaps very aggressive in the fund collection this time. He also said most of the fund collectors are from France and Germany.
