(May 30, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Several hundred Muslims staged a protest after Friday prayers this noon at Maradana to show solidarity with the people of Palestine. The protesters shouted anti America and anti Israeli slogans before dispersing.
Later a group of protesters handed in a memorandum to a US Embassy official expressing their support for the Palestine cause.
