Minister will be addressing LTTE front meeting




(September 12, London, Sri Lanka Guardian) In the news published in the LTTE front websites LTTE front British Tamil Forum is holding a meeting at Zoroastrian Centre, 440 Alexandra Avenue, Harrow, Middlesex HA2 9T. Lord Malloch-Brown, Robert Evans MEP and Garath Thomas MP will be speaking at the meeting.

The news also published part of the text of a letter that has been posted to many of the Tamil residences in the Harrow Borough Council from the office of Rt. Hon. Gareth Thomas MP (West Harrow) and Parliamentary Under-Secretary, Department for Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform which stated:

“I'm writing to invite you and your family to a public meeting about Sri Lanka with Foreign Office Minister Lord Mark Malloch-Brown, Monday September 15th 2008, 6.30pm, Zoroastrian Centre, Rayners LaneLord Malloch-Brown is Deputy to David Miliband MP (Foreign Secretary) and has specific responsibility for Britain's relations with countries in Asia and Africa – including Sri Lanka. Lord Brown will be happy to answer any questions you have on Britain's foreign policy. Robert Evans MEP, who has a keen interest in Sri Lanka, will also be available at the meeting. He and I will also be happy to take your questions............I hope you are able to attend the public meeting about Sri Lanka with Lord Malloch-Brown’.
