Three submarine type boats found in Mudayarkattukulum, Mullaithivu

(January 29, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Army Task Force 3 yesterday found three submarine type boats and 15 luxury houses tiled and fully air-conditioned in the Mudayarkattukulum area in Mullaithivu, Brgd. Udaya Nanayakkara said.

Two of the submarine type boats were 25 feet long while the other was 35 feet long, Brgd. Nanayakkara said. He added that a huge Dora type boat and a large number of boats were also found.

In the Pallayaputukkutiyitappu area in Mullaithivu Army Task Force 4 yesterday found 15 LTTE bunkers, one unicorn, two jeeps, one bowser, one cab and track.

In the meantime, troops of 58 Division gained control over the Visuamadu town, following initial search and clearing operations conducted in the area. - Sri Lanka Guardian
