(February 13, Colombo,Sri Lnaka Guardian) A disabled soldier who backed Gen (retd) Sarath Fonseka was allegedly abducted, beatenup and has been found dumped on the wayside in Ragama a shortwhile ago, a JVP spokesman said. He was reported missing last night after he had left his home in Thuduwegedra, Ragama. An entry had been lodged with the police.
A JVP spokesman said that he was being rushed to the Ragama hospital now.
The soldier was injured in the Jayasikuri operation in the late 1990s.
