Over 200 students are suspended from their respective campuses

Campus student continue agitation campaigns

University students are continuing with their campaigns against the arrest of students with at least five separate protests on Monday and Tuesday, student unions said.

Today protests are being held at the Sabaragamuwa university and at the Institute of Indigenous Medicine in Rajagriya while three more protests will be held at the Ruhunu and Peradeniya campuses and the Aesthetic institute in Colombo.

More than 30 students includingthe convenor of the Inter University Student Federation (IUSF) Udul Premaratna are in Police custody while over 200 others are suspended from their respective campuses.
