( December 14, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Amal Rodrigo, a person who is believed to be one of Minister Mervyn Silva's co-ordinating secretaries has been abducted in the Pitakotte area, Mirihana Police said.
Rodrigo (46) was abducted while returning after a meeting with a lawyer yesterday noon. Mirihana Police said Rodrigo had been abducted by an unidentified group.
