( December 24, 2012, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) The TID today (Dec. 24) summoned three female students of Jaffna University to its Vavuniya office for questioning, according to reports.
Previously too, the TID has summoned several students, both male and female, for interrogation.
These follow the arrest of a group of undergraduates, including the secretary of the Students’ Union, on November 29.
Reports said the TID is giving telephone calls, ordering the students to be at its Vavuniya office for questioning.
In this situation, many students are thinking about leaving the country, reports said.
