Hurray ! Hurray ! ~ Once again it’s May Day !!!

Far, far away...
Where the sun shines away…
Paramount desires of the public, lay…
One day in reaching them,
They certainly may…
Endure obstacles, all along the way,
At times causing a gaze to sway,
Along the margin of the bay…
If one reaches them not - One fine day…
They shall not away astray,
For, the dreams and desires shall never decay…
Another generation shall portray,
Until their needs have seen the day…
Till then, they just must look up and say,
To the sun that shines with a vibrant ray,
Where their great yearnings sit,
High-up… far, far away…
To keep on shining - never betray,
And clear the clouds of darker grey,
Thus, clear the paths, all through the way…
Looking up at the sun,
You can believe - You can stay,
On the journey, now more like a long essay…
If one may not reach the end, one day,
The others shall follow – never astray…
Blameless hopes, resilient goals,
Look at them in the sun – don’t ever stray…
At least, they are up there,
Smile at them – as horses may neigh…
True ! - Another year, has flown away,
With not too much of a vital say…
For workers ill-fated,
They march all the way…
Slogans being screeched,
They are still subject to underpay…
The dominant provoked,
Their annoyance in display…
For they are busy making hay,
While the sun shines away…
It’s that day of the year,
The traditional Public Holiday !
May Day has arrived,
Hurray ! Hurray !
The workers are out,
But what can they say ?
The ill-fated throng,
After eons, for other’s sins,
They still pay…
May Day has arrived,
Hurray ! Hurray !
The workers are out,
Their needs still locked-away…
May Day has arrived,
Hurray ! Hurray !
When could their lives,
In the least, gleam as the milky-way ?
Though not too bright,
In its dim, spattered way…
Hurray ! Hurray !
Once again it’s May Day !!!
