(November, 02, London, Sri Lanka Guardian) Karuna Amman has been arrested in London and detained at a local police station for questioning, reliable sources in London told the Sri Lanka Guardian.
It is not known on what basis he was detained. It is unlikely that he will be charged.They may question on what basis he entered into the United Kingdom and it may turn out to be an Immigration matter to be dealt with by the Home Office, the source also said.
Meanwhile top level intelligence officer in Sri Lanka says security official in London has been confirms his arrested also he is likely to be deported to Sri Lanka within next few hours.
