(November 02, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) plan to utilize new war tactics for upcoming operations like the “Kamikaze Pilots of Japan during the World War, sources close with the LTTE Supremo informed Sri Lanka Guardian.

"The LTTE plan to draft their Air Wing and will be using their pilots to fly their light aircraft as a “Flying Suicide Bombers” packed with explosives targeting Senior Politicians, VIP’s and Senior Military officials," source said.

The LTTE is instigating this new deadly plan in Sri Lanka and they are in dire need to boost morale amongst their cadres as they continue to face the onslaught of the Sri Lankan Armed Forces and as the general morale has been down since their downfall in the East.

"The LTTE have 5 or 6 light aircrafts at present and they have tried desperately to clandestinely smuggle aircraft parts, aviation fuel and other maintenance supplies needed for the fleet of the their so called “Tamil Eelam Air Force”. But a recent operation by the Sri Lanka Navy had destroyed their plan. A few ships carrying parts of their Aircraft was sunk by Sri Lankan Navy during the Sea confrontations," sources also told Sri Lanka Guardian.

The LTTE are going to be using their “Suicide Bombers in light aircrafts” in desperation against the Sri Lankan Forces.

According to sources, President Rajapaksa and his brother Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaka are the most important targets of the LTTE, not to mention Sri Lankan Navy Commander Karannagoa and Army Chief of Staff Sarath Fonseka who are all on the top of their list.

However the ruling Sri Lanka Freedom Party continually arrange their political propaganda meeting in open public places whilst the President addresses the people behind Bullet Proof glass. This also explains why the LTTE are switching their targeting tactics.

"Kamikaze" is a word of Japanese origin, which in English usually refers to the suicide attacks by military aviators from the Empire of Japan, against Allied shipping, in the closing stages of the Pacific campaign of World War II. It is considered related to the Bushido tradition, which along with the word kamikaze has its origins in Regent Hōjō Tokimune's defiance of the Mongol Empire, according to information in the Encyclopaedia.

According to a Kamikaze pilots' manual, "when you eliminate all thoughts about life and death, you will be able to totally disregard your earthly life. This will also enable you to concentrate your attention on eradicating the enemy with unwavering determination, meanwhile reinforcing your excellence in flight skills."

Sri Lanka Guardian strongly depends on our reliable source, he also informed us of the planned LTTE Air-Strike at the Anuradhapura Air Base last month. The LTTE had used their usual approach during that confrontation with the back up of their Black Tigers.

According to our source, "Sri Lanka Forces must think very seriously about their enemy's different approach and new targeting tactics. Even they must learn from history.
