Government paid compensation for victims of the Dehiwala bomb blast

(May 27, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) The Ministry of Disaster Relief Services and Resettlement has paid Compensation for victims of the Dehiwela bomb incident today.
One hundred thousand rupees has been paid for the family of married person and 50 thousand for unmarried who was died at the bomb blast.

The compensation scheme is operated under the directives of President Mahinda Rajapakse.

Under the first phase of the compensation 15 thousand rupees was given for funeral arrangements. Minister Rishard Badurdeen says ten thousand rupees will be paid for an injured in the first phase under the maximum of 50 thousand rupees.
