(May 06, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) All propaganda activities should be stopped by midnight tomorrow (07) in relation to the Eastern Provincial Council election which is to be held on May 10, Police Election Office says. A spokesman from the Police Election Office said that all candidates have already been informed to stop propaganda activities 48 hours prior to the election.
He further said that those who engaged in propaganda activities after the deadline will be legally punished.
