Mano Ganesan Called for international Intervention in Sri Lanka

(December 03, Toronto, Sri Lanka Guardian) It seems Mr. Mano Ganeshan is very upset about our revelation of his LTTE connections during his recent tour in Canada. Unfortunately without answering our charges he desperately blames defence.lk website a site which published our press release. We released our press release to several other Sri Lankan media organizations and defense .lk is one of the organizations that published our press release. So there is no point of blaming defence.lk for publishing it without answering our charges. Come on Mr. Ganesan. Don’t you know the difference between a media release and a news item?

We have positive evidence that Mr. Ganeshan’s Canadian tour is a part of LTTE’s agenda carried through the world by individual Diaspora LTTE fronts. Apart from collecting funds for weapons, LTTE’s world agenda is to bring international players into one umbrella to set the stage for an international intervention in Sri Lanka.

Mano Ganeshan’s part in this agenda is to push the International Community by exposing so called human rights violations and blame the Sri Lankan security forces for every incident happening in Sri Lanka. In fact that is what he did while attending that so called “Peace” meeting on November 16th 2008 in Toronto. At this meeting apart from his famous white van story, Mano Ganeshan “proposed” that the international community should intervene in the internal matters of Sri Lanka and to setup office of an international agency to monitor human rights activities in Sri Lanka. We cannot understand how a Sri Lankan and a member of parliament carrying a diplomatic passport issued by the Government of Sri Lanka could ask the international community to breach the sovereignty of his own country. We don’t need to be “rocket scientists” to understand connections with the LTTE. We ask the Sri Lankan government not to allow this LTTE sympathizer to use our diplomatic passport to discredit our motherland.

We understand Mr. Mano Ganeshan tried very hard not to show his affiliation with the LTTE in public; we also understand that Prof. Cheran the new LTTE adviser didn’t attend the meeting as advertised earlier in order to hide Mr. Ganeshan’s LTTE affiliation. We heard none of the other speakers talk about “peace” in Sri Lanka but spoke enthusiastically about how to remove the ban on LTTE in Canada and how the International community could intervene in Sri Lanka. Meeting was held at the steel workers union, a place we could describe as a moderate location but crowded with LTTE sympathizers and controlled by LTTE front men.

As we said before, after ‘canceling’ his Oshawa University lecture ( oh we are sorry that is what he says ) Ganeshan attend the Hamilton MP’s office for a quick meeting; meanwhile LTTE replaced Mr. Mano Ganeshan with another LTTE front man Nethan Shan to address the students. Now Canadian security agencies are running after him.
