The Weeping Mermaids

They sing! So they say
Melodious music in harmony
On quiet full moon nights
Surfing up the lagoon waters
The elegant little mermaids
The crest of the coast in the East
The land of lush and green
Are the singing fish indeed!
Night by night at present

They chant, warble and lament
Their voices quaver and tremble
Their cries gracefully mingle
With the wailing of the human preys
Snatched by the monstrous tsunami waves
Lives of clans just in thousands
The sacrifices pure and innocent!

(Dedicated to the souls lost in tsunami).
