(May 28, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) A DNA test carried out by Army medical experts has helped to match the bodies of LTTE Leader Velupillai Prabhakaran and his son Charles Anthony, Brig Udaya Nanayakkara said.
They said the DNA test had been carried out by an Army medical team.
It was not immediately clear whether an independent organisation will be invited to carry a further test.
Meanwhile the parents of Prabhakaran have been identified at a welfare camp in Vavuniya.
