I have never failed in my life, General Fonseka

(November 24, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) “I have never failed in my life,” said General Sarath Fonseka today. Responding to a question by a journalist at a function in Colombo, whether he could win in a presidential election, General Fonseka, the former Chief of Defence Staff said that he had never failed in his life.

When asked whether he would contest in the next presidential elections, he said that he had so far not declared his plans and called for patience for another two to three days.

“I will always do all I can to fulfill the aspirations of the people,” the General said.
