Run to the airport!!!!

(January 24, Houston, Sri lanka Guardian) Tamils Against Genocide (TAG) attorney is filing civil action against the visiting Sri Lanka’s President Mahinda Rajapakse for damages under the Alien Tort Claims Act (ATCA/TVPA) on behalf of three plaintiffs for the killings of 40,000 civilians in Mullaiththeevu in 2009, killing of 5 Trincomalee students in January 2006, and for the killing of 17 Action contre la faim (ACF) workers in August 2006.

Unrelenting President Mahinda Rajapakse is on the confrontational course with the Tamil Diaspora and has undertaken a surprise visit to the US following his humiliating debacle in December 2010 to leave his bags behind to run to the Heathrow Airport to board the waiting Sri Lankan Airline flight back to Colombo fearing arrest warrant being issued against him by the court.

The President with his 20 member official team that includes the External Affairs Minister Prof G L Pieris is expected to make a quick exit from the Texas fearing adverse outcome in the Texan Court on the plaint filed by TAG.

This time there is no Sri Lankan Airline plane waiting at the airport to quickly fly off the President and his team. He has to either wait until the scheduled return date or the American establishment must come to rescue to board him into a plane to exit him from the country.

Tamils is large numbers are expected to gather in front of the White House today demanding President Obama to deal with President Rajapakse on war crimes charges.
