(May 27, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Sri Lankan born Australian citizen Kamal Chandra Wellalagodage has taken money from various people promising foreign jobs. In 1996 he had played out over 4.5 million rupees from the people of Dambulla and Mathale areas. Many complaints were lodged against him at the Dambulla Police station and before the investigations commenced Kamal Chandra Wellalagodage fled to New Zealand. In the recent years he has restarted this scam with the help of a senior officer who is attached to the PSD (Presidential Security Division) . This group is targeting Tamil youth of the North and East areas who are eager to leave the country and settle down in Western countries.
