Sorry Statement by the Government of Sri Lanka

( September 18, 2012, Melbourne, Sri Lanka Guardian) As per recent news in relation to the protests here in Sydney, against the film ‘Innocence of Muslims’ the Minister for Immigration, the Hon Chris Bowen says ‘he is prepared to take action against any non-citizens who were involved in a violent protest in Sydney sparked by an anti-Islam video. Mr. Bowen said the offenders involved in the protest on Saturday needed to be identified and he would await the outcome of any legal action by the NSW police before he took action. I'm sure the question will come in relation to any action that might be taken in relation to any non-citizens,' he told reporters in Canberra on Monday.’

Given that the above statement was made by our Minister for Immigration, one needs to expect some effects of his thoughts - on our Immigration policies – especially in relation to Asylum Seekers. As some observers said – the violence is not directly related to the film only. The film has become the outer reason/excuse. My mind went to the time I was arrested for Peaceful Assembly at the University of New South Wales. As per the law of karma, by arresting a genuine protestor, the New South Wales Government and the People who elect them, asked for violent protestors. Now they have them.

As per Hindu Bible – ‘Lord Krishna says that Katpagatharu – the ‘Wish Fulfilling Tree’ gives you what you ask for when you stand underneath the tree. But you get also the ‘opposite’ of it as per the law of nature. Hence when Australian Government goes under the Global ‘wish-fulfilling tree’ and asks for credit points as host country for migrants they get with it the debits that migrants bring with themselves. To the extent we invest in Equal Opportunity principles and values, we would not ‘see’ the fruits but would feel it at the roots of ownership – global ownership. This would help accept both sides as one and have the confidence to separate those who are driven by ‘Australia Only’ from those who carry debts from their past. In Hindu-Tamil Astrology – we often come across horoscopes that carry Mars in 7th House which indicates special packages from the past. On 10 August 2012, it was stated in the Sri Lankan Parliament ‘That this Parliament resolves that steps be taken to encourage the cultivation of Palmyrah known as "Katpagatharu" which is very useful for the public and to promote productions related to Palmyrah.’

If the above proposal was genuine, it was a ‘sorry’ statement made by the Government of Sri Lanka, to make up for using Tamil Livelihood Katpagatharu – Palmyrah tree of Northern Sri Lanka, to kill Tamils. The Armed Forces of Sri Lanka often used the trunks of Plamyrah trees to build their own shelters.

As discussed during a recent study circle – whatever we do – we do to ourselves. That is the principle of Oneness. Laws, Structures and Due Processes that lead us to this Oneness are healthy. When we regularly practice them or stay within our Truth and our Truth alone – violence is naturally prevented.

If the protestors acted violently in Australia – without any ‘Australian Cause’ – then they must be left to sort it out themselves – as ordinary violators of law. To the extent we punish them more than other protestors – we are confirming abuse of power. I was for example considered ‘Sri Lankan’ by the NSW Police. This required them to consciously treat me as a foreigner on Equal basis – using International law and not ‘local’ trespass laws. They punished me excessively due to their blind following of the Vice Chancellor of the University of NSW whom they ‘saw’ and they ‘obeyed’. Given that I was genuine and was following Due Process – (Faith in the University being the deepest Due Process) – I reached the destination of Truth. This unites me with the real University – the University I invested in – at the root level. The apparent leaders got their punishment through Bruce Hall matter which was seen to be race based problem.

As per the law of Nature – there is another side to every physical manifestation. Taking the damage due to the protests, the Cost and the Benefit would be Equal if Australia were a sovereign country. If benefits are greater than costs – they give us a ‘loss’ at a later point in time. Punishing the messengers would not go to the root of our problem where the opportunity awaits. Universities that spend more in teaching than in research – become very unsteady. Research gives us the internal ownership. Whoever does the research as if s/he is part of the institution/nation – find the solution for that institution/nation. Some others give form to this real solution. Unless they are connected to these roots – they lead to hallucinations.

As per the news reports – the Race Discrimination Commissioner has stated that the media coverage of the protests could have inflamed anti-Muslim sentiment. If they did, it is better that they be surfaced and we could consciously separate anti-Muslims from anti-Christians. If these are equal – they balance each other – like the Government of Sri Lanka and the Tamil Tigers do – whilst many ‘dream’ / ‘hallucinate’ that the war is over because they do not ‘see’ it. So long as we have the two balancing elements – we see the full picture. The racists amongst the NSW Police will balance the Muslim protestors. Why worry?
