(November, 20, November, Sri Lanka Guardian) Mangala Samaraweera of the National Congress told the Press conference today (20 Nov) that the Rajapakse Bros. Govt’s end is in sight .The Govt. is destined to breathe its last on the 14th of December when the third reading of the Budget will be taken.At yesterday’s second reading of the budget it is evident that the JVP has at last thought of political integrity and uprightness by voting against the Govt.
The Govt.’s life is hanging just on seven votes at the moment which will also swing against it on the 14th Dec., he said.
Meanwhile, UNP M.P. Rathnatilake who did a pole vault act ‘jumping’ to the Govt. side a week ago has admitted that he is an expert acrobat.
Besides, he says he will not sell himself. But, he does not deny that he will allow himself to be bought over.
