LTTE’s Hero’s Day celebration in London

(November, 20, London, Sri Lanka Guardian) News published in a LTTE website, publicity is given that Hero’s Day celebrations will take place in many counties on 27 November 2007. The functions are to be held even in countries where LTTE has been proscribed as a terrorist outfit. The colourful publication and the event details of London published in the said LTTE’s tamileditors.com website is published below:
The government on Sri Lanka and its cohorts are actively involved in attempts to disrupt this year's Remembrance Day events. Once again, these acts only go to highlight the extreme depths to which Sri Lanka has sunk. From parading of naked corpses in Anuradhapura to attempts at preventing remembrance events in the west, Sri Lanka is vividly exhibiting its barbaric tendencies. Additional Note: Due to overcrowding at last year's Remembrance Day events held at four centres across London, this year, the organisers have hired London's largest indoor venue, the Excel Centre in the heart of the city.

News emerging from LTTE sources in London confirms British Tamil Forum (BTF) headed by Chenthilkumar has booked the Excel Centre for the Hero’s Day celebrations. BTF is an LTTE front in the UK and is the main organisation working with the British Parliamentary Pressure Group for Tamils headed by Hon Keith Vass MP. Questions are been asked how Hon Keith Vass MP will be responding to the blatant violation of the UK Terrorism Act by the BTF by holding the function of a terrorist group in London. Under the Terrorism Act glorification of terrorism is prohibited and the Prime Minister Gordon Brown too in his wide ranging speech last week said British government will take action against terrorist fronts for violating the Terrorism Act.
