(January 28, Chennai, Sri Lanka Guardian) Tamilnadu Congress Committee president M Krishnasamy on Monday urged Chief Minister M Karunanidhi to take necessary action against those supporting the banned terrorist outfit LTTE.

In a letter to the Chief Minister copy of which was released to the press, the Congress leader said even though the Director General of Police had issued clear warning that no support could be lent to any terrorist outfits, some were speaking in favour of the LTTE.

Stating that the nation can not forgive the brutal killing of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi by the Tigers, Krishnasamy said senior leaders of the Congress were hurt deeply by the supporters of LTTE, who were slinging mud on the party.
