Vaiko’s travails at Chennai airport

(February 24, hennai, Sri Lanka Guardian) General secretary of MDMK in Tamil Nadu, Vaiko was caught in an awkward situation as he had to come to face to face with his arch-political adversaries at the Chennai Airport.

On Saturday evening, Vaiko came to the domestic terminal of the Chennai Airport to take a flight to Coimbatore and went to the VIP lounge.

However, when he came to know that his erstwhile colleague and leader of the breakaway faction of the MDMK L Ganesan was there with his wife waiting for a Delhi-bound flight, he went to another room.

Strangely, DMK’s strongman of the south and Chief Minster’s elder son MK Azhagiri arrived there from Madurai. Hurriedly, Vaiko moved to a popular book store and when he was browsing titles there, a hand touched his shoulder and said hello. Curiously, it was Union Minister and Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar who had come to take a Delhi flight
