Motherland is vanishing
Violence is gaining
Non-violence is hiding
Parents become children-less
Children become parentless
Husbands are losing wives
Wives are losing husbands
Bombs are thundering
Children are weeping
Mines are leg-breaking
Wives are weeping
Birds are evacuating
Eggs are being blown
Animals are fleeing
Away they are thrown
Minds are in war
Heads are in war
Peace waging is gone
War mongering is done
Mongers are earning
Innocent are dying
Tamils are decaying
Sinhalas are decaying
Invisible hands are working,
Sinhala & Tamil
Invincible brethren are losing
Taprobane is vanishing!
Serendib is auto-destructing
There is no way to peace
Peace itself is the way!
