(April 15, London, Sri Lanka Guardian) Number of web media’s of the LTTE has published an appeal of the LTTE front Tamil Rehabilitation Organisation (TRO) for funds from the Diaspora Tamil community for its activities in the LTTE control areas in Sri Lanka.
The appeal stated: ‘we request that the overseas Tamils and relatives provide funds so that we can have adequate temporary shelters/homes, food, and medicine.’
The pro-LTTE websites Yarl.com, UKtamilnews.com, troonline.org etc gave extensive coverage for the TRO appeal - Sri Lanka Guardian
