Hindu temples fund LTTE front in the UK



(August 09, London, Sri Lanka Guardian) News reaching from sources of LTTE front British Tamil Forum (BTA) confirms LTTE sympathetic Hindu temples in the UK have provided funds for the BTA for its activities. According to the sources Shree Katpagavinayagar Temple in Walthamstow, London Sivan Kovil in Lewisham and Shree Nagapoosani Ambal Temple in Edmonton have provided about £10,000 to the BTA to carryout its pro-LTTE campaign work.

All three temples are registered Charities and according to the Charity Law providing funds for such purposes are not allowed.

Further inquiries reveal that LTTE front Shree Nagapoosahani Ambal temple had collected £65,000 recently when it performed Kodi Archanai (Million service) specially to raise funds for the LTTE. The temple sources said this amount is expected to be chanelled to Vanni shortly.
