LTTE attack repulsed in Konketiyawa, Padaviya

(August 30, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) An LTTE attack on a joint army and police guardpost was repulsed killing one of the LTTE cadres in Konketiyawa, Kumbukwewa of the Padaviya police area today morning.

A civilian girl caught in the attack also has been injured.

The weapon of the LTTE cadre was found in the area and a search operation is on. - Sri Lanka Guardian
