Gas prices to come down at midnight

(October 31, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has announced a price reduction on 12.5 Kg Shell gas cylinders by Rs.78 and Laugfs gas cylinders by Rs. 178 with effect from midnight.

Shell Gas Lanka Ltd confirmed that the new revised price for their 12.5kg domestic cylinder will be Rs.1785 while Laugfs Gas cylinders will be available at Rs.1679 per cylinder. The price revision comes following a rapid fall in international oil prices and Saudi ARAMCO prices within last two months. - Sri Lanka Guardian
