(March 12, olombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) The former Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation Chairman, Dr. Ganganath Dissanayaka who was reportedly abducted on Wednesday night close to his home in Mattegoda has returned home today morning, Police said.Police said the persons who abducted him had removed his cash and released him.
However other sources said that he had been threatened as well, but details were not available.
He served as the Chairman during the UNP regime between 2001 to 2004. -Sri Lanka Guardian
