Half the terror outfit has become non-violent democrats

President Rajapakse holds fire to save as many civilians as possible; troops operate only with ground fire aimed strictly at Tiger cadres.

(March 14, Frankfurt, Sri Lanka Guardian) In a report dated yesterday (March 12) the noted media fraud and impostor, Tamilnet states about 50,000 people are being affected by floods in the Safe Zone. In its daily narration of fabricated falsehood there is a paragraph that reads as follows:

“About 81,000 families consisting of about 330,000 persons displaced from Mullaiththeevu, Kilinochchi, and part of Vavuniyaa, Mannaar and Jaffna Districts are staying in the Safe Zone in Mullaiththeevu proclaimed by the Sri Lankan government.”

While it is obvious these numbers are exaggerated far beyond the most foolish bounds, even if one single person is subjected to such a magnitude of misery it is intolerable.

How come the Tamilnet is so sure of the numbers unless it was all pre-calculated and weighed as a force to be used as a ransom for a ceasefire? How come there is always fire from the armed forces and never even a cracker boom from the LTTE? Why are large numbers of civilians being affected with death and injuries resulting only from enemy fires, in this case as always with Tamilnet, the enemy is the state forces?

Firstly in an area where the last of the LTTE are in desperate defensive posture, 330,000 people just cannot even have standing space unless they are three or four tiered or even more with one standing on the shoulders of the other. This figure represents more than one-eightieth of the entire population of Sri Lanka.

Secondly, what are people from Kilinochchi, Mannar, Vavuniya and Jaffna doing there on the eastern coastal town of Mullaitheevu? If there were needs of any kinds they would never have gone eastwards when they could have safely gone southwards and northwards which were always safe for them.

Reading from this report of Tamilnet, as it is every day, one gathers the impression that the people were led to the risky circumstance of slaughter by a force akin to marching goats to the temple for a gory sacrifice. This marching evidently did occur and thousands were ruthlessly rounded up and led towards the east to shield the Tigers. The LTTE did that in October 1995 too and hundreds perished on route.

There is irrefutable evidence that anyone trying escape are shot at by the LTTE cadres under siege and that the armed forces have s topped aerial bombing and other heavy sorties. What is happening are ground action and search and kill of the cadres?

Sometimes desperate situations cause desperate means. There have been incidents when trapped civilians attacked the Tiger cadres snatching their guns and some people have paid a terrible price as a result. These are ruthless killers who show no mercy at all and organizations like Tamilnet supported by the filthy-rich Californian pro-LTTE Tamil medicos are playing cheer leaders to this killing spectacle. What does it matter to these fatsos for they were never ever part of their people even in Sri Lanka?

Stating that they are standing for their people under genocidal attack in Sri Lanka gives them a kind of status and even doors of the rich, the influential and the powerful are opened to them for championing the rights of their helpless folks in Sri Lanka. The Californian fatsos came to this American Klondike previous to the 1983 racial riots in Sri Lanka, a defining moment of tragedy, and made their gold.

Those who came afterwards pursued their gold from different sources. The smarter ones sought the shady roads of alien smuggling credit card fraud, terror collection of funds and various other devious means and all such people strutted around the Diaspora community as supporters of the Tigers, brandishing their identity as freedom fighters.

They have amassed their millions, bought their mansions, luxury cars, bedecked their females with gold and even men got their heavy chains and of course kept the highly lucrative Tiger industry in good stead too. In other words, the pro-LTTE Tamil Diaspora is not at all interested in the well being of their folks in Sri Lanka. They are today not only a propaganda shield to the last of the armed Tiger cadres but also the shield for the thriving Tiger industry among the Diaspora.

In order to safeguard it, they need a ceasefire and this is why so many efforts are being made to propagate the idea that what is happening in Sri Lanka is genocide against the Tamils. In the western world demonstrations can be held for anything and everything; even if one such demands the freedom to get about “starkers” that is without even a stitch of clothing, there will be enough to make a spectacle of it.

In the media world, daily sensation matters for the profit crazy corporate culture that has a death grip in the western world. Like what could happen to the man who holds the tiger’s tail, the corporate world is faced with the same nemesis.

The pro-Tamil Diaspora is very much an endangered species. If the Tamil Tigers are gone, this community will suffer in consequence since it has built its foundation based on raising funds in the name of Tamil liberation in Sri Lanka as advocated by the terror gang of Velupillai Prabhakaran. All that Prabhakaran wanted was a mafia state under his total control in the South Asian waters. He was well on his way to achieving it until Mahinda Rajapakse crossed his path.

The reality in Wanni is totally different. State fire power is very much muted and all efforts possible to save the entrapped civilians are being taken against the odds of LTTE cadres firing at the innocents and also snatching away children, young people and even elders as frontline fodder. Even their food and water are snatched away. In the pockets of a dead Tiger cadre were found energy food meant for children and made available to them as emergency rations.

Those NGO folks and western parliamentary members who talk so much about state terrorism in Sri Lanka are only interested in protecting their positions. The NGO personnel have funds potential to protect and exploit and as for the parliamentarians, they have their constituents and this also makes them stand out as champions of the downtrodden and endangered in the developing world. This is good for their image.

Contrary to our understanding and expectations, many of the NGOs have been a plaguing pack of parasites in Sri Lanka and the story of a Norwegian project, the Cey-Nor, is a tragic example of this reality.

Organizations like the Tamilnet and the pro-LTTE Tamil Diaspora are engaged in a worldwide scam and fraudulent activity using the ethnic question in Sri Lanka as their diving board. They have been at this sport for three decades nurturing the most brutal terrorism force in the world which is also so innovative in the terror game that it has cultured to frightening perfection the suicide bomber and even earlier, the deadly land mines.

The LTTE has to be rooted out totally and the Government of Sri Lanka has proved that they are capable of bringing an end to this nightmare threat. President Mahindra Rajapakse deserves credit to be the first leader of any nation in the world to be so effective in this mission. Even the United States is unable to achieve this in the Middle East despite the killing of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians in its fight against terrorism.

A striking authentic actuality of President Rajapakse’s determined campaign against terrorism is that he has converted half of the terrorists who plagued the country for nearly thirty years into non-violent democratic participants in Sri Lanka’s governance. In fact, a most effective deputy of the terrorist supremo Prabhakaran, is now a minister of state in his government, all his cadres have laid their arms down and the Eastern Province is thriving with economic activities aimed at rehabilitation and rapid development. -Sri Lanka Guardian
