(March 05, Chennai, Sri Lanka Guardian) AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa today said she would take part in a hunger protest to be organised by her party in Chennai on 10 March to call for a stop on the attacks on Tamils in Sri Lanka.
In a statement, she said AIADMK office-bearers would take part in the fast on the day all over the State and hundis would be kept at the protest venues to collect funds to help victims in the island nation.

'The Central government and the DMK government in Tamilnadu have become mere spectators to the atrocities taking place in Lanka. The only solution to save Tamils is to stop the war in the neighbouring country,' she said. -Sri Lanka Guardian
