(March 03, Lahore, Sri Lanka Guardian) President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore . The President asked the authorities concerned to immediately investigate the incident so that the perpetrators are identified and their motives exposed. He directed that best possible medical treatment be provided to the injured.
Pakistani Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has also strongly condemned the attack on the convoy of the Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore and ordered an immediate enquiry. The Prime Minister termed it a terrorist attack and said the objective was to bring a bad name to Pakistan. He directed the provincial authorities to immediately beef up the security and submit him a report.
Prime Minister Gilani directed best possible medical treatment for the injured Sri Lankan cricket players and others who were injured in the attack. -APP-Sri Lanka Guardian
