(March 24, Trincomalee, Sri Lanka Guardian) Air Force personnel attacked a group of LTTE cadres in Morawewa in Trincomalee this morning. The Air Force men had detected the LTTE cadres around 4am and had launched an attack. An airman was injured in the incident, security sources said.
A stock of medicines was recovered in the subsequent search operation.-Sri Lanka Guardian
