(August 09, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) The United Peoples Freedom Alliance (UPFA) has polled 10602 (Seats 13) votes in the Jaffna Municipal Council (JMC) election held Saturday while the Tamil National Allaince (TNA) polled 8008 (Seats 08) votes, according to official statement released by Election department short while ago. Tamil United Liberation Front (TULF) led by V. Anandasangaree got 1007 (Seat 01) votes while Independent Group I received 1175 (Seat 01) votes the statement said.
