(November 20, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) The US Department of State has issued a revised travel warning for Sri Lanka to reflect improving security conditions in the country,” the US Embassy in Colombo said Friday.However the Department warned its nationals of possible safety concerns in parts of northern and eastern Sri Lanka.
“When assessing security conditions, the State Department considers host government restrictions and statements and notes that the government recently renewed the state of emergency,” the US Embassy said in a statement. -Sri Lanka Guardian
