(January 14, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Through a believable change, people could survive on a reasonable cost of living, said the UNP MP Ravi Karunanayake at a propaganda campaign organized to secure the victory of presidential candidate General Sarath Fonseka.
“We said through a believable change we can reduce taxes, reduce the numbers in the cabinet and let the people survive on a reasonable cost of living. Doesn't the Government have any dignity to ask for another mandate as problems pertaining to rice, health and even education have not been solved?
"Because of this thousands have joined Sarath Fonseka with the message that we need a new Sri Lanka,” said Ravi Karunanayake.
