(April 09, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Nishantha Muthuhettigama with 124,368 topped the UPFA preferential votes list in the Galle District while Ramesh Pathirana with 94,317 votes came in second.
The other UPFA winners are Gunarathne Weerakoone (67,895), Piyasena Gamage (66,301), Chandima Weerakkodi ( 66,190) Sajin Vaas Gunawardena (53,620) and Mohan De Silva 48,756
Manusha Nanayakkara with 47,060 votes topped the UNP list while Gayantha Karunathilake came second with 46,168 votes.
