KP’s secret diaspora Tamil contacts revealed

| by Our Special Reporter

( October 27, 2012, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) The Sri Lanka media quoting Media Minister Keheliya Rambukwella reported that ‘Communication links with important members of the pro-LTTE Tamil Diaspora had been established in an attempt to win their hearts and minds and convince them of the futility of continuing with the state of mistrust and tension’ the government said yesterday. (The Island, the Colombo based pro-Rajapaksa daily).

This news was hilarious joke for the political leadership of the Tamil Diaspora. Few names surfaced out as claims have been made that a team of Tamil delegation will be visiting Sri Lanka soon. One Inbam from Canada, another with the same name from London together with a Labour Party Councillor from North West London Kana are to join a bandwagon to prop up the government and undermine the elected leadership of the Tamils in Sri Lanka. The Councillor had confirmed his visit to few of his colleagues and the news slowly started to sneak into the local Tamil community.

Sri Lanka Intelligence Service is said to be indebted to KP and is utilising his contacts in the Tamil Diaspora to demolish the international Tamil political campaign work.

Media Minister Keheliya Rambukwella addressing a news conference in Colombo said that ‘exchanges were continuing and the focus was on convincing Tamils of the advantages that would accrue to all Sri Lankans, if they participated in the process of forging permanent peace, reconstruction and rehabilitation’ (The Island).

He further said:  ‘LTTE’s former chief arms procurer Kumaran Pathmanathan(KP) would pay a key role in the peace process, contrary to the belief in some quarters, KP was still an important factor in the equation’.

An email from a source very close to KP has been received. Sensitive information written in Tamil and the person requesting anonymity revealed the conspiracy hatched by KP to make contacts with four leading members of the Transnational Government of Tamil Eelam. The email said:

‘The government of Sri Lanka through KP is making arrangements once again to entertain few Diaspora Tamils (to Colombo). The arrangements are being made through GTV proprietor Selvi. Finance Minister of Transnational Government Ilayathamby Selvanathan , the Speaker Pon Balarajan and Norway Sarve too are involved in the talks (with KP) to facilitate a meeting. This behind the scene work is done without the knowledge of the Prime Minister Rudrakumar. They are preparing a list of names of those who will be participating in talks. Even an emissary of the Sri Lanka government had visited Australia recently and from there he went to Canada and had discussions with KP’s contacts and returned to Sri Lanka’.

KP who was party to the formation of the Transnational Government of Tamil Eelam before his arrest is said to hell bent on demolishing the very same organisation for the Sri Lanka government. According to very reliable news received, KP played an important part to finally destroy the LTTE in May 2009. His engagement with army intelligence head Major General H G K Hendavitharane resulted in the very supply ships he sent to the LTTE were bombed by the Sri Lankan Air Force.

As a barter deal, he was given a safe haven in Sri Lanka with the bogy drama of him being kidnapped in Malaysia. Sri Lanka Intelligence Service is said to be indebted to KP and is utilising his contacts in the Tamil Diaspora to demolish the international Tamil political campaign work.
