Brigadier Suresh Salei has been appointed as the head of the State Intelligence Service, reliable sources confirmed.
He served as the Director of Military Intelligence. In 2016, he was removed from the post of Army Intelligence and sent to the Sri Lankan Embassy in Malaysia.
The former head of SIS Senior DIG Nilantha Jayawardena has been assigned to the police headquarters.
