(August 14, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Thousands of university students have been given a warning not to proceed further along Galle Road from the Bambalapitiya junction by Police who said that LTTE members may try to infiltrate the protestor march.
The protesters were told that if they have a memorandum, to hand it over to the Police but this request was ignored by the students who are continuing the march towards Temple Trees.
