India playing leading role in destroying peace in Sri Lanka by inciting war fanaticism

(September 17, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Indian government was saying that political solution must be found to the Sri Lanka’s national ethnic conflict. When Politicians and Tamil nationalists of Tamil Nadu were accusing that India is providing arms, military assistance radar systems to Lanka, Indian government denied it.

However, the incident that took place in Vavuniya has brought many things to light. It cannot be considered that India has provided radars to Lanka merely as general help that is normally provided to a country.

It has come to the light to the entire world that Indian radar technicians, who were operating the radar given by India in Vavuniya Josef camp, had been wounded.

India has supplied radars and war weapons to the Lankan government to fight the very people with whom India was insisting the Lankan government to hold talks. That is the truth that has come to light.

This has exposed not only the weakness of the Lankan security forces but also the double face of India. This is involving the citizens of India in an internal civil war in Lanka. The Indian government must accept full responsibility.

Sri Lanka government, which is happy about the help given by the India now, will one day regret for this development.

Indian government, from the very beginning invited militant groups, formed new rebel groups, permitted them to put up camps in India, trained them and provided arms.

On the other hand, it was providing military assistance and arms to the Sri Lankan government. Therefore, India has acted like a dealer of destructive weapons by providing arms to both sides with the intention of dividing and ruling like America.

India is playing a leading role in destroying peace in Sri Lanka by inciting war fanaticism in Lanka rather than assisting Lanka to find a peaceful political solution to the ethnic conflict. This has also been proved now.

This is a matter that the people of the entire South Asia should ponder over!
