Hingurana Distilleries(pvt)ltd had given to three million rupees bribe to Pillayan


(September 28, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) An administration of the Hingurana Distilleries(pvt)ltd had given to three million rupees bribe to Chief Minister of the Eastern Province , Chivanesathuri Chandrasekaran aka Pillayan last week, our reliable source informs.

" He sent one of his colleagues Jeganathan ( not his real name) to meet Nishantha one of an administration members of the Company and they handed over 7,00,000.00 as a first step of bribe before Chief Minister and his three member's visit to Japan", source told the Sri Lanka Guardian.

"Another 23, 00,000.00 was given to the same man on last week by the Administration of Hingurana Distilleries (pvt) ltd," source added.

Meanwhile civilian sources in Batticaloa contacted Sri Lanka guardian two days ago over the phone. They reveal details about Pillyan and his colleagues' administration in the East, and bad developments in the area.

TMVP members are involved with the killing of an engineer in Chettative, Batticaloa recently. But media and first secretary of the Pillayan blamed LTTE on the killing.

"The Law in Batticaloa is going to dogs. The Government must take the responsible to build up their intelligence network in the areas to monitor the present developments," civilians sources in the area urged the Government.
